About Us
Parivartan Mahila Sanstha is a non-profit organisation founded in 2000 by a collective of committed women from the social sector, united by a shared belief—when women are empowered, entire communities thrive.
What began as a focused effort on women’s empowerment has steadily evolved into a holistic movement addressing the diverse needs of vulnerable groups, including children, destitute girls, tribal communities, and senior citizens. Over the years, Parivartan has worked to create opportunities that enable individuals to live with dignity, independence, and a sense of purpose.
At the heart of our work lies a community-driven approach that values participation, ownership, and sustainability. We believe that real change happens when people become active contributors to their own development. Acting as facilitators and enablers, we build capacities, nurture leadership, and strengthen local systems so that communities can grow stronger from within. Our work extends beyond implementation - We actively collaborate with networks and institutions to prevent child trafficking, promote women’s rights, and ensure effective delivery of government programmes with transparency and accountability.
Through every initiative, we strive to create safe, inclusive, and empowering environments where individuals—especially women and vulnerable populations—can realise their potential and lead dignified lives. Parivartan Mahila Sanstha is not just an organisation; it is a journey of transformation—towards self-reliance, empowerment, and sustainable community development.
